I have co-sponsored two bills by Rep. Ford (HB 747 and HB 748) I think other bill’s are forthcoming….Some have suggested tacking a funding amendment bon the bingo bill…or a lottery bill….many ideas are being floated.

The Budget committee’s meet starting tomorrow…we will have to await some answers from the budget committee chairmen.

In my opinion, I’m not sure picking a fight with state employee’s and teachers on their insurance would be the wisest strategy to keeping the program solvent.

I favor keeping the program solvent and await the budget committee’s recommendations and/or other ideas
