Topic: Time given for PACT Bd. meeting Aug. 19 inconsistent; confused

Has anyone noticed the time (as of 8-04-09) for the PACT Bd. meeting that is posted on the State Treasuer's web site? It says that the meeting is at 9:00 a.m. I and others have been given the time for the meeting as 1:00 p.m. Is this incompetence on their part or is this an attempt to confuse those who might travel to Montgomery to attend?
Why is the meeting information not even posted on the Stat's official PACT web site that is supposed to provide us with all the up-to-date news and information about PACT?

If somewhat contacts the State Treasurer's Office re: the time, can we "gently" request that they have a microphone for any speakers? - At the last meeting, we could very little of what was being said in the staff reports because they were facing away from the audience and did not have microphones.  Want to be sure that we hear anything that is said about the RSA study.

My guess is that they will meet first to discuss 529 and then at 1 pm to discuss PACT.  That's what the Board did in May.  I'm sure they'll post more details on the Sec. of State web site as we get closer to the meeting date.
