Topic: Copies of 11/4 Board Meeting materials?

Did they hand out copies of the 70+ pages plus the 2 booklets referred to in the agenda? If so, could someone create some pdf's to post on this site? I'm interested in everything, but especially whatever was included in the Attorney General's opinion.

If they didn't hand anything out, hopefully everything will soon appear on our Treasurer's website.

The did not, but I believe we got copies of everything except the Callan report -- which they may post to the website.

As soon as I get it in PDF I will post to the website.

I have added them to the website - front page.

Maybe the Callan report can be posted by the Treasurer's office -- I'll see what I can do...

Re: Copies of 11/4 Board Meeting materials?

Of the 3 lawsuits, which one was dismissed, which one is pending in Montgomery, and which is at the AL Supreme Court?

Re: Copies of 11/4 Board Meeting materials?

It shouldn't be surprising that a lawsuit was dismissed.  If the suit's premise is failure to pay an existing contract, that hasn't happened yet.  The only evidence that suggests contracts might not be paid in the future is Mrs. Ivey's letter from last year which simply warned of that possibility.  I don't see how a court can entertain a suit until a contract tuition payment is actually missed.
